Here are common Errors codes that you may encounter. In each section below, there is a short description of the error.
Error 403 – Access denied
You may be trying to access something you don’t have permission for.
What to do: Make sure you’re logged into the correct account. If the error persists, try logging out and back in again.
Error 404 – Not found
Something you’re trying to access isn’t available.
What to do: This may be a broken link or a removed profile. Refresh the app or try a different feature.
Error 500 – Server error
This usually means there’s a temporary issue on our end.
What to do: Wait a few minutes and try again. If the issue continues, try restarting the app or checking for updates in the App Store or Google Play.
Error 503 – Service unavailable
This typically happens when our servers are under heavy load or undergoing maintenance.
What to do: Try again in a little while.
Internal error 0030 0430 00XX, or, 0030-0403-00XX
Sometimes, we detect unusual behavior patterns when using the app, and this error should disappear once we determine that everything is back to normal.
What to do: We recommend taking a short break and trying again in 24 hours.
“Something went wrong” / “Try again later”
These are general errors that could be caused by network issues or a bug.
What to do:
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
- Restart the app.
- Update to the latest version of Bumble.
- If the issue continues, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
